Defense

Armatirion keeps a small (relative to the total population), efficient, professional military force, exclusively to defend the people, the Republic, and its principles. It is divided into the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. Under no circumstances will Armatirion soldiers walk on the soil of another nation. All weapon systems utilised by the Armatirion armed forces are of a conventional nature.

The Coast Guard is a civil service, but flies the military naval ensign and cooperates with the Navy.

The C.E.S. (Civil Emergency Service) is a non-military organisation, but do on occasion cooperate with the military in certain circumstances. C.E.S. is ready to act on short notice in large scale emergency situations, including natural or ecological catastrophes like floods, droughts, erosion, famine, etc. The C.E.S. can be deployed to foreign nations if needed and requested by the recipient.

Military uniforms
Below is a presentation of all parade uniform jackets, with matching officers' hats. Rank insignia are worn on both shoulders (not shown), and branch insignia are worn on both collars as shown. Medals are worn on the left chest only (not shown). See below for a complete presentation of insignia. Additional dress code as described. All uniforms feature a pair of white cotton gloves; one national flag patch on both jacket upper arms; a brass emblem with a red enamel star centrally on all hats; and a black leather belt with a brass buckle set with a red enamel star.

Army parade uniform jacket. Olive trousers, black boots. Privates and Corporals wear olive berets.










Air Force parade uniform jacket. Grey trousers, black shoes. Cadets and Airmen wear grey berets.

Branch
insignia

Brass collar devices are an important feature on parade uniforms, where one is worn on each jacket collar (winter uniform) or shirt collar (summer uniform). They are usually not worn on field uniforms, except by Chiefs of Staff and high ranking officers. C.E.S. personnel wears one collar device centrally on their hat when in the field.
Below are the most common branch insignia. There are even more, such as "Lawyer" and "Music".
Military Police don't have unique branch insignia (as they are not considered a separate branch), but wear an MP-band on their right upper arm.
